Silverlight Developers Association of Redmond, WA

We are in the initial stages of forming the users group. Please bear with us as we become more functional.

The main purpose is to focus only on Silverlight technologies.

We plan to have an eNewsletter and events with speakers who are experts on the Silverlight subject.

We filed the application for Non Profit Public Benefit Corporation in Washington State on August 28th 2009!

We have been approved by the State of Wahington on 9/16/2009. Our UBI# is 602-955-051.

The Wells Fargo business bank account is open.

The Redmond business license was obtained, #red00052541.

We are currently working with Microsoft Developer Evangelist to find sponsorship for a meeting room on the Microsoft main campus. We are also trying to lineup a series of Rock Star speakers on Silverlight.

We have been accepted into the WebSpark Network Partner program on 10/6/2009.

Contact president@silverlightdevassoc.com for more information, to become a speaker or sponsor.

Due to a lack of funding in Microsoft budgets for Speakers, Pizza, etc. we have formed and joined a larger organization called Seattle Silverlight Usergroup. This organization was formed from the Interact and Silverlight Developers Association. This allows us to take advantage of scarce resources and covers the greater Seattle area, so we don't have hundreds of smaller Silverlight Groups. The new webite url is at http://www.seattlesilverlight.org

Our first founding meeting is December 9th at 7 pm. in the Steptoe room. Come socialize and listen to John Stockton about Silverlight 4.
